Really quick here as I have to leave. LOL Last night, I went to CVS with my sweetie. I bought 1 Thermacare heat wrap & 12 Dove chocolate bars. We had $4 in ECB's to use up.
Bought:
(1) Thermacare heat wraps-1 count
(12) Dove Chocolate bars
Thermacare-3.79 (but rang up 6.99)
Dove chocolate bars-.29 each
Used:
(1) Thermacare $3/1 coupon
($4) in Extracare Bucks.
My sweetie bought the wrong Thermacare, the lady rung us up, was busy chatting.
Get done, ECB's didn't print out. Come to find out, it was the wrong Thermacare. Exchanged it. Went to get a refund for this and our ECB's. The lady cashier there, well, she did something I wouldn't do. We asked her several times to please refund the entire transaction, however, she didn't.
Instead, she refunded the amount to a gift card. Again, against our wishes, but well, it's not my job and her and the other guy there were managers.
The amount to the gift card came out to like $7.57 if I remember right. She rung us up again, redid the coupons, and printed out our ECB.
So the transaction should've been:
Bought:
(1) Thermacare heat wraps-1 count-3.79
(12) Dove Chocolate bars-.12(clearance)= 3.48
Total: 7.27
w/tax-7.87
-3.00=4.87-4(ECB's)-.87 plus 3.79 in ECB's.
Thermacare-3.79 (but rang up 6.99)
Dove chocolate bars-.29 each
Used:

($4) in Extracare Bucks.
Cashier paid us with a gift card, re-rung us up--then used the gift card, paid us our ECB's. Bad thing is, I feel she royally screwed up, but she wouldn't listen to us. We should've only had to pay: .87 on it. When I get to the hotel, hopefully I can see my honey's laptop, I'll edit this and post more details and a pic hopefully. Either way, she just owed us the $ for the over price on the wrong Thermacare and the ECB's, and we should've only paid $.87 for all, plus gotten our ECB's, but well, it's her job. I'm calling the corporate later if this isn't right. Gotta figure out the difference, as she may have refunded us the correct amount, however, should've refunded us cash, not a gift card, then reused the cash. I use to work for Eckered for over 4+ years, I know what she did. I'll be back later this week. I'll try and blog from the hotel if I can see the laptop.

Ever tried O'Keefe's Working Hands Cream? If you're like me and suffer from dry skin due to allergies, this cream is the BEST! Years ago, before I discovered how bad my allergies were, I'd always suffered from dry skin, particularly, my hands, elbows and feet. My mother sent me a jar of this stuff because I wasn't able to find it in our drug stores or our grocery store. I used it ONCE and fell in love! I use it daily and it doesn't take that much to put it on your hands and feet. I use it after I wash my hands to keep the hand soap from drying out my hands. I use to have a really bad dry rough spot on both my hands near my thumbs. After applying this daily, it's gone away and hasn't come back! It's unscented and free of dyes and fragrances that can dry out your hands and skin. It's the most awesome cream I've discovered in a long time! Now, even though my mom has passed on, I couldn't get anymore from her. I since discovered that you can purchase this at Lowe's near the painting department!!!!! A while ago, I asked how many people had Iphones & Android phones. Why, because of this. If you haven't done this already, I sure encourage you to Join Shopkicks *here* and start earning 'kicks' towards FREE rewards now! What is Shopkick? Shopkick is an app that is free to download(click the link *here* to join first) then download it to your phone. Once you join, you can earn kicks for shopping at certain stores, 'tapping' stores located nearby, walking into stores(<---yes, I said just for walking into stores!), scanning certain items in stores, buying certain things at certain stores with your 'linked' card and referring people to Shopkick! My sweetie & I travel out of town once a month. During the travel, I refresh the 'nearby' places(beware, you can drain your battery quick doing this, but always handy to have the charger ready! I just keep ours plugged in..lol), then 'tapping' those places to 'level' up. The higher the level, the more kicks you can get in 'instant rewards'. Some of the rewards you can earn are: gift cards, facebook credits, hotel cards(for $25 hotel cards you redeem when you book at certain hotels), gas cards, Itunes gift cards, Target gift cards, Macy's gift cards, restaurant.com gift cards and more! So far, we've racked up enough kicks for us to get 5 $25 hotel gift cards. Some of the hotels require a 2 night stay, others don't. It takes a little time to get the kicks, but if you do it daily, it adds up quickly, but well, if you're the passenger in the car, like me, lol, I just play with it and get the kicks each time we go anywhere, even if it's to the grocery store.
When I first got my first hotel gift card, I had only 1,555 kicks. I used 625 kicks and still had 900+ kicks left. Not even a few days later, with scanning products, walking into stores, and 'tapping', I'd gotten way past the 1,555 that I had! So you can earn them quickly or slowly, it just depends on how much you use the app. You can also 'add' your favorite stores too. Up to 25 of them. When you look at those stores on your favorites, there will be coupons, discounts, freebies and deals you can get at those stores with your shopkick being on your phone! Between getting American Express gift cards last year at CVS for a $30 purchase, plus also for a $30 purchase at CVS last year we also got gas cards too, and this, we're on our way to saving big for our next vacation! We've racked up over $200+ in savings just for gas, hotel & American Express gift cards and you can too! So give it a shot and see what I'm talking about and start earning today!
