Frugal Tip for Season Grinders! I *LOVE* this!

Scope this out!!! I so love that I figured this out again but I figured out a much easier way to do this!

Ever run out of your favorite McCormick's seasoning that was in a grinder and wanted to reuse the grinder but didn't want to throw away the grinder? Well I have some news for you! You *can* refill them much easier than you think.

If you have any of these spice bottles that are empty or nearly empty, don't throw them away, don't go buy another. Unless you want to that is.

You won't need to pry it open with a screwdriver, end of spoon, needlenose pliers or anything else. Instead, just put some muscle into it! LOL Trust me, it's easier than you think! Here's how:

You just need to hold the glass bottle firmly and pull the top straight off very hard; once you're applying the maximum force you can apply directly away from the bottle, angle just a little away from the central axis. Then it will POP off!

No need to go buy those expensive on the shelf grinders. I priced them out at Bed Bath and Beyond, holy smokes, $9.99-$19.99 and more! That was just for 2 of them! Instead, reuse the ones you have, buy the spices you like with them or to refill them and then label it with what spices you like! And the best part about this, is that you can sometimes find McCormick's coupons for their spices! Making it much cheaper to buy your spices! Just buy the spices you don't have, refill your old bottles and reuse them. :) More pictures coming soon! And maybe even a video. :)
