Saturday March 10, 2012:

***Note***: When shopping at Target, try and use Target printable coupons along with manufacturer coupons. You can use both printed manufacturer coupons along with Target printable coupons, or both Target coupons from the Sunday inserts along with Manufacturer coupons from the Sunday inserts. Try and match up coupons that you have with the Target coupons. Then wait for items, such as this, to go on sale for an even better deal. Also, some stores are picky,(mine's not so bad), about using more than one Target coupon per transaction. Therefore, for instance, like this cereal, had I tried using 2 Target coupons in this same transaction, it may have beeped at me, not allowing me to use those coupons. Therefore, I recommend, just to break up your transactions as I did here. It's a pain, but it sure goes much smoother most of the time for us. Here's how I did tonight.

  1. I have 2 questions... 10/30 walgreens, why did you need fillers? it looked to me that before fillers your items did not out number your coupons, so I am confused. My second question is 10/30 CVS with the 183 savings, how was that all done, ECBs?
    thank you

    ReplyDelete
  2. Hello Adreanne, I had the first (7) items listed there each had coupons. There were some that were on sale 2/4 or other prices. So to get the Register Rewards, I buy the 2/4 or whatever the deal is. The first 7 items came out to like 14 coupons, including 4 M&M candies. I was using $7 in RR's to help pay for these items, therefore, I couldn't have more manufactuer coupons than items, hence why I bought the filler items to offset that.

On the 10/30 CVS transaction--Yes, ECB's & coupons. :) That particular day, I had over $100 saved in ECB's. I used those plus coupons on each item. Key thing that I've learned is to use coupons on every single item you buy. Items you don't have coupons for, try getting an overage from an item you're using a coupon for to offset the cost of the items without coupons. :)
